PQRS Reporting via Registry is one of the easiest & quickest reporting methods. 

The penalty for not reporting 2016 PQRS is 4% for solo providers and groups with 2-9 providers: 2% value modifier penalty + 2% PQRS penalty.

The penalty for not reporting 2016 PQRS is 6% for groups with 10 or more providers for groups upto 10 or more providers: 4% value modifier penalty + 2% PQRS penalty.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services launched a new risk-based primary care initiative to accelerate the shift toward value-based reimbursement with a focus on health IT and chronic care management.The five-year, Comprehensive Primary Care Plus, or CPC+, starts in January 2017 and will include up to 5,000 practices and 20,000 physicians in an estimated 20 regions.
  • CMS will accept payer proposals to partner in CPC+ through June 1.
  • CMS will accept practice applications in the determined regions from July 15 through September 1, 2016.
